Thank you for joining our new global food and agriculture social site. AgWiki’s exists to bring together food and fiber producers with key groups within the food chain.
Farmers, ranchers, and even backyard gardeners rarely communicate with those who provide health and nutritional information about our food. These groups, collaborating, are more likely to reach a goal they share – nutritious, safe, and affordable food.
Research scientists and consultants are critical to improving how food is grown and raised. From environmental management to sustainable practices, science is the backbone of the industry. Keeping farmers up to date on discoveries that impact their farm or ranch has been a challenge for agriculture… until now.
Our goal is to address world food problems socially. We know it starts with food producers, scientists, and nutritionists / dieticians working together. Sharing information and building relationships on a global level is now at our fingertips.
AgWiki is a powerful tool but is not a finished product. With your help, we will continue to evolve. In the near-term we will be adding:
- commodity markets & weather
- content from key thought leaders
- improved Group interactions
- more ways to collaborate
And finally, we’re creating a Research Center to give all users access to a vast library of research and scientific information specifically for AgWiki.
Please come often, share your knowledge, and (most importantly) tell us what you’d like to see added or changed. We can’t tell you enough how much we appreciate everything you do.
Your Team at AgWiki
